A portable humidicrib, designed and developed in Toowoomba, is attracting world attention.

The device is used to transport premature and critically ill babies and has already been sold to hospitals around Australia.

State Development and Innovation Minister Tony McGrady, who inspected the system today, said this was another example of a local innovation proving Queensland really is the Smart State.

"The State Government assisted with a $28,000 dollar grant and I'm told without this money the system may not have been developed.

Seven million dead dolphins. It's a number almost too large to comprehend. But that's how many dolphins have died since the late 1950's from being caught in fishing nets to ultimately drown or suffer severe injuries. Dolphins, one of the most intelligent marine mammals, were tracked by fishermen, tangled in nets, and left to die, all for the tuna industry.

The findings of Australia's largest-ever airborne geophysics salinity project will help landholders and community groups manage salinity in south-west Queensland, Natural Resources Minister Stephen Robertson said today.

I advise I am running for the Queensland Senate for the Great Australians. I attach a copy of two speeches I made recently which I invite you to read, and a copy of our Spending Tax policy.

This is a very serious alternative to the present method of collecting Tax.

The Australian Greens today welcomed Labor's commitment to the protection of Cape York.

The Greens have called on the Nationals to publicly commit to returning the $17,000 they have received in donations from James Hardie over the past three years.
