1) Civil war in Iraq: we continue to support the resistance

We speak plain language: the Sunni-Shiite conflict in Iraq has grown in the course of the last six months into a sort of civil war.

It helps little, to simply argue against this position by pointing out that all this has been caused by the machinations of the USA and of Zionism - as many of our friends in the resistance like to do. Surely the USA contributed substantially to this split, without however carrying this on their banner from the outset. For the civil war does not indicate by any means the success of Washington, but its total fiasco, its complete loss of control of the situation.

Dear friends,

I just joined a global virtual peace march demanding that the new US Congress stop President Bush's escalation in Iraq and demand a real peace plan, and I thought you might be interested. Please see the email below.

Subject: Join Saturday's global peace march... without Leaving Your House!

This Saturday, hundreds of thousands of Americans will march on Washington DC to demand peace and justice in Iraq and the Middle East. We can be there too, raising a global voice of solidarity -- through our own worldwide virtual march. Time is short, so add your voice and join the march today!

Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act- by Arthur and Fiona Cristian

Most Australians mistakenly believe we have a Constitution that determines how we are governed and the laws that are made that have an effect over our lives. Most Australians are unaware that, even to this day, The Commonwealth Of Australia does not have a Constitution and in fact, The Commonwealth Of Australia is now a registered private corporation, which the men and women of Australia do not own or control.

How did this happen?

Why have the men and women of Australia been lied to for more than 100 years?

Who has really benefited from this 100-year-old secret?
Lets find out.

There were three referendums over the Australian Constitution prior to 1900. When the results of the third referendum of 1898 for the proposed Australian Constitution were sent across to the British Colonial Office, 68 alterations were made by the Colonial Office before it was presented to the Imperial Parliament as a bill for debate.

1) With the Resistance, for a Just Peace in the Middle East International Conference

Chianciano Terme, Province of Siena, Tuscany, Italy
Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 March, 2007

The national assembly of the promoting forces, which met last Sunday in Florence, decided to finally convene the international conference: "Against the Occupation, with the Resistance - with a Just Peace in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine".

After the struggle of 2005, when the Italian government impeded the conference on order of the US, after the success of the campaign for the visas which seem to be granted this time, and with the renewed interest of different sectors of the Arab Resistance movement time has come to hold this important international convention.

Somalia: Death and despair the 'benefits' of war on terror
SOMALIA: In what seems to be becoming a signature atrocity of US President George Bush's "war on terror", US air strikes hit a Somali wedding ceremony, according to a January 10 BBC Online report.

With all the customary pomp and pageantry accompanying the occasion, the 110th nominally (first time in 12 years) Democrat-led Congress convened on Capitol Hill on January 4. It was done much the same as in earlier years except for the first time ever a woman took the gavel after being elected Speaker of the House in a final vote known weeks in advance killing any suspense about its outcome.

Nancy Pelosi savours victory in the Senate. Photo APNew House Speaker California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi called it "an historic moment for the Congress" which it was but only with respect to the gender of the Speaker, not for what significant policies can be expected over the next two years as this writer explained in an earlier article on November 13 titled New Faces, Same Agenda. The article suggested the political firmament shook briefly on November 7 leading some in the country to hope a new day on Capitol Hill had arrived with the Democrats now in charge ready to bring with them some long-delayed substantive change voters demanded in the November 7 mid-term elections.

So... You want anarchy? You fucking got it!- by callemity

The Great Decider, ruler of nothing but the corrupt, owner of nothing but the usurped and commander of the biggest military travesty in modern history has 'decided' that he above all experts, all soldiers, all advise and all public opinion that 'He Knows Best' and all the US People can do is - whine some more with the cheesy platitudes that mean nothing?

*Here's some reality check points for the majority that call themselves US Citizens:*

In the Afghanistan Caves where Bin Laden was allegedly 'holed up' is probably a massive cartel of opium producers... why aren't the US Special Forces going in there with great prejudice to check and reveal the wicked people behind the 6000 tons of opium coming out of Afghanistan?

FACE FoundationA new World Rainforest Movement report 'A funny place to store carbon' documents human rights abuses at Mount Elgon National Park in east Uganda, where the Dutch FACE Foundation has been planting carbon 'offset' trees since 1994. The report exposes how villagers living along the boundary of the park have been beaten and shot at, have been barred from their land and have seen their livestock confiscated by armed park rangers guarding the 'carbon trees' inside the National Park.

Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Olmert- by Barry Chamish

When Ehud Olmert returns from his mysterious trip to China, he will be indicted. The question is, will this be the New World Order trial of the century?

Quoted from the Jerusalem Post: "The State Attorney's Office has decided to open a full-fledged criminal investigation against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert regarding his alleged intervention in the government tender for the sale of the controlling interest in Bank Leumi, Channel 10 reported Tuesday evening. According to the allegations, Olmert intervened in the tender for the privatization of Bank Leumi on behalf of two personal friends with whom he also had business connections, American businessman Daniel Abraham and Australian businessman Frank Lowy."

Free the Cuban 5- by Leslie Feinberg

The International Action Center calls on everyone to support two important events on the Cuban 5. Below, find information about an important call for Rainbow Solidarity for the Cuban 5 & a rally for the Cuban 5 in New York on Jan. 13.

I and other LGBT activists working with the New York Free the Cuban 5 Committee very much hope that you will sign on to the call below.

The Cuban Five are political prisoners held by the United States government for the "crime" of trying to stop U.S.-based terror attacks against Cuba. U.S. courts recently denied the ruling for a new trial. With this call we hope to re-invigorate outrage at the targeting and continued imprisonment of these political prisoners.
