Dear Ken,
Welcome to round four of the debates. On deck tonight are CBS News' Bob Schieffer, Senator Kerry, President Bush and you. Last Friday, more than nine thousands Americans participated in Media for Democracy's "Citizens Debate Scorecard," scoring the debates at the moment they were finished.

Tonight's debate in Tempe, Arizona is our last chance before November 2 to see the candidates debate the issues face to face. But are they talking about the right things? We want you to join our citizens' panel; watch the debates and then give us your honest assessment as soon as the candidates leave the stage.
The Scorecard asks which issues and candidate aspects were glossed over, which were examined in excess -- and which were just right. You will rate the questioning skills and style of CBS moderator Schieffer and assess each candidate's performance before the glare of the media.
Within hours of the close of the debate, results from your monitoring will be summarized by media analyst Andrew Tyndall of the Tyndall Report and fed back to more than 500 political and media reporters assigned to the campaigns.
Thanks to all of you who have participated in the past.
Remember, tonight, to complete the Scorecard as soon as you can so that we can get your perspectives into the headlines for tomorrow.
