The case can be made that George Bush's faith-based policies have lead to more deaths from terrorism and greater insecurity for every county in the world; that compassionate conservatism has deprived women of access to birth control and sought to limit freedom of choice throughout developing countries; and that this same spiritual guidance has delayed and frustrated attempts to address global warming and reduce the consumption of depleting fossil fuels.

P.S. This issue should not only concern Christians. The faith based politics, coming out of Washington affect us all equally. President Bush's bible thumping policy has alienated non-Christians and Christians around the world. Together we can call for a new era in which policies are once again based on facts not faith.
