Concerns about the US/Australian"Military Games"

Open Letter to the Australian Minister for Defence: Dear Dr Nelson

I write to you today to express my deep concerns about the US/Australian "Military Games".

Of course, I understand that our Aussie troops need to undergo adequate and thorough training to equip them with the skills needed to defend our country against any form of aggressive invasion. Of course, our troops need training before being placed in harms way.

However, I do not agree that my taxes and the taxes of other Australians should be "splashed about" to further advance the US's military build up in the Pacific.

"Sicko" Is Completed and We're Off to Cannes!

Michael Moore's Sicko Poster- by Michael Moore

It's a wrap! My new film, "Sicko," is all done and will have its world premiere this Saturday night at the Cannes Film Festival. As with "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11," we are honored to have been chosen by this prestigious festival to screen our work there.

My intention was to keep "Sicko" under wraps and show it to virtually no one before its premiere in Cannes. That is what I have done and, as you may have noticed if you are a recipient of my infrequent Internet letters, I have been very silent about what I've been up to. In part, that's because I was working very hard to complete the film. But my silence was also because I knew that the health care industry -- an industry which makes up more than 15 percent of our GDP -- was not going to like much of what they were going to see in this movie and I thought it best not to upset them any sooner than need be.

The biotechnology firm ArborGen has asked the USDA for permission to extend, and allow to flower, an experimental field trial of genetically engineered cloned eucalyptus trees in Alabama. The trees have been genetically engineered for cold tolerance and for delayed or reduced flowering. The trees have also been engineered with an unknown "confidential" marker gene.

Video: Torture - The Guantanamo Guidebook

Want to see what happens in Guantanamo Bay?
This is a documentary that is graphic, ugly and contains adult nudity and vicious scenes.

It is a reconstruction of what happens with GW Bush's Administration and US Congress approval. It contains Ex-US Military and is 'tame' because of the dangers involved to the men that volunteered to be 'tortured and abused' in the same way the 'silent victims' of the US FAILED FLAWED FATAL FOREIGN POLICIES have been for 48 hours so that the TRUTH can be seen, known and brought out.
