Volunteer Position: Blog Technician

Child Safety is something I know and understand. Websites and blogs are things I am learning about…slowly! Imaginif requires a volunteer wordpress technician guru to join our team.
Spending my precious evening hours pouring over html books and tutorials is not my idea of fun. Spending my evenings pouring over books, journals and research about child safety, child protection, protective behaviours and child sexual abuse is what does it for me.

So Gmail has a new PowerPoint Viewer. If you send a PowerPoint attachment to a Google Gmail client, they see something like this at the bottom of their email.

When your Gmail recipient clicks on the "View as slideshow" link, a browser window pops up with forward and backward buttons. This lets those with Gmail clients click through the slide portion your ppt file -- without using PowerPoint or other viewing software.

Forums on this site on this site are being restructured and re-organised. Check the forum block in the right hand menu bar for temporary access to your favourite forum topics.

Just like us, our friends at http://wordpress.com/ have been struggling with the continuing stream of SPAM messages posted on our forums and blogs. I used to spend a couple of hours each day keeping this and other sites I manage free from the dreaded spam. But no more. Thanks to the wonderful Akismet Anti Spam Service provided by Wordpress.com spam on our web sites is now a thing of the past.
