Submitted by Toni Lancaster on Sat, 18/08/2007 - 00:24.Although I have not participated at this web site for a few weeks now, I thought it appropriate to let users who are familiar with me be aware that on August 15th 2007 my husband was killed in a car accident as he was coming home from work.
Kevin Rudd will be a disatster for divorced fathers
Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 07/08/2007 - 10:57.In case you had any illusions about the feminist's hold on Kevin Rudd. Read his objections to the shared parenting family law amendments passed last year. Its also interesting to note his support for the discredited minority report prepared by Nicola Roxon (minority meaning that she was the only objector amongst the full committee comprising labor, libs and nats).

Coalition to Address Systemic Failure in Child Safety
Submitted by Legislation Lisa on Tue, 31/07/2007 - 08:41.THE CHALLENGE
Nearly two years after Queensland going to the polls on the basis that the Premier wanted to fix Queensland’s failed child safety system a Child Death Safety Review Committee Report has produced a scathing analysis of the Department.
The Report identified around half of the child death cases involving the Department of Child Safety were not actually reported to a special review committee within
the legislated six-month time frame.

Fascism and disability in Queensland - The Guardianship and Administration Act

http://paradigmoz.wordpress.com/
In Queensland, any one of us can have our rights of freedom of movement and association taken off us for a period of 6 months at a tribunal hearing where we or our representative are not present. There is no capacity to appeal or object to this and not even the Attorney General can demand information about this process.
If we want to complain about this, the only people to complain to, by legislation, are the very people who have done it.
